Camp Director: Elizabeth Wilson
In my first grade classroom we did the Morning March over and under the tables, published our daily Writer’s Workshop stories with wallpaper covers and showed our learning with portfolio assessment. We worked hard, and our learning was full of joy. We loved to read, we liked the tension release of a good Greg & Steve song, and we solved big problems. Families were a critical part of our classroom and learning.
I left the classroom when my son was born to do in-depth field study in early childhood education! My son is now six and my daughter is one. He was our first Summer Camp Adventure Club Camper, she is our youngest, and I am thrilled to be Camp Director.
